5th Project Meeting online in December
In terms of project development, we completed the “Drawing the Baseline” phase, laying the foundation for our work, and launched the design and testing phase, preparing for full-scale implementation in demonstration buildings. We developed energy simulations and scenarios for all demonstration sites (in Kraków, Córdoba, Linköping, and Edinburgh), targeting at least a 60 per cent reduction in energy demand. We inaugurated stress tests in Innsbruck and Grigno to test innovative insulation systems and self-healing plasters under extreme conditions. We installed advanced demo building monitoring to track wall humidity, temperature, and indoor air quality before renovations. We finalised the structure of the FuturHist Retrofit Academy, including e-learning modules and plans for the 2026 Summer Academy in Kraków.
